Pastor Everhart was installed as pastor of the Peaceful Baptist Church on April 28, 2000. God gave him a simple yet powerful motto for us: “His People doing His Purpose though His Power”, which is now affectional known as “His People, His Purpose, His Power”. He has taught and preached the unadulterated Word of God faithfully. God has blessed and advanced Peaceful in several ways during his pastorate which include but are not limited to: burning of the Church mortgage, renovation of the main sanctuary; renovation lower fellowship hall, construction of an indoor handicapped ramp, restorations of the church grounds and parking lot; purchase of real-estate in community; multimedia system, etc.
